Drive
From Canberra - about 25 minutes' drive west of Canberra's city centre.
From Sydney -around 3.5–4 hours via the Hume Highway (M31) and then into Canberra.
Ample free parking available. Disabled parking is available. Wheelchair accessible bathroom.
Our riverside stargazing site sits on the serene banks of the Murrumbidgee River and is a favourite spot for picnics and outdoor relaxation.
The area features shady riverside beaches, a playground, barbecues, picnic tables with shelters, and toilet facilities. Wheelchair accessible bathroom & drinking water is available. Disabled parking is available.
With sweeping 360-degree views of the surrounding hills, it’s one of the best places to enjoy the natural beauty of the ACT’s ecosystem.
