At Canberra Stargazing, we believe the stars belong to everyone.

Whether you live with a disability, are neurodivergent, or simply need a bit of extra support outdoors, we want you to feel safe, included, and inspired under the night sky.

As a small, growing business, we are continually learning and improving our services. If our general sessions don’t suit your needs, we’re happy to explore how we can adapt the experience just for you.

Accessibility at Our Location

Our stargazing events take place at a comfortable location with amenities. The area offers:

Inclusive Experiences

We welcome people with visible and invisible disabilities, and those from communities traditionally underrepresented in outdoor spaces. If you have specific needs, please let us know - we’re here to help.

Here’s how we can support:

Mobility
Suitable for guests who use a cane, walking frame, or wheelchair (if independently mobile).

Sensory-Friendly Support
Let us know if you identify as neurodivergent or have sensory processing sensitivities.

Hearing Support
We use a microphone and speaker system to ensure voices are clearly heard in open-air conditions.

With notice, we’re happy to tailor the session for guests who are hearing assisted. We can:

  • Use simplified verbal explanations throughout the session

  • Wear any assistive hearing devices (such as personal microphone receivers or loop systems) you provide

Custom Sessions
If our regular group tour doesn’t suit your needs, we’re happy to create a modified private session where possible.
